For 6 months, AnaMaria, student at Academy of Economic Studies, was working in Brazil in the CNA company as a teacher. In this time during the first semester she assist classes and replace other teachers. During the second semester, after getting proper training, she worked as a regular teacher in just one school, she had 6 groups of students and worked 20 hrs/week, Monday to Thursday, plus the hours spent at home planning, correcting homework and tests. By doing this type of work she learned a lot from her students and she was very proud to see them grow under her guidance.
She decided to participate in the Global Talent Programme because she went another time in India, and the second of her list to work was Brazil.
When she was free, she traveled around the country and went very often to the beach.
As an advice for the ones who want to work abroad, she said: Be open minded, don’t expect anything, let it surprise you, don’t complain, make friends, travel, learn, grow.
